This tool will help you find your target heart rate based on your age, resting heart rate, and activity level. Your target heart rate can guide you to how hard you should exercise so you can get the most aerobic benefit from your workout.

How to measure your resting heart rate:
  1. Rest quietly for 10 minutes.
  2. Gently place 2 fingers (not your thumb) on the inside of your wrist, below your thumb.
  3. Count the beats for 30 seconds.
  4. Double this number to get the number of beats per minute (bpm).
